The graduating classes of January and May, 1961, are planning their 50-year reunion for June 25, 2011. All the details will be available on this site, and your comments, updates, photos, videos, etc., are welcome. There will be list of those whose addresses are unknown, so if you have their info, post it! As the plans are firmed up, they will be posted here, so come often!
I just talked with Dr. Peake, and he told me that there was a vinyl recording made of the Chancellors in either 1960 or 1961. He thinks it had a jet on the cover and labeled Banks High Chancellors. Since my husband, Philip McMahan, was a member of that group and has such treasured memories of the vocal group, I will be glad to pay for the vinyl record to be converted to a DVD or CD. Please contact me at 205-835-771. I could also make these available for the reunion. Please contact me as soon as possible if you know who might have that recording, Thanks, Sandra I. McMahan
Sorry, I left out a number in the phone number I gave in the post about the vinyl record of the Chancellors. My number is 205-835-7771. If you know anyone who might have that record, I would greatly appreciate your contacting me at the cell # listed. Dr. Peake remembers the cover but does not have a record left. He would also love to have one.
